GeoAttribution Service

To meet their financial objectives, carriers push to deliver broadband services via their own infrastructure.  There are situations however where externally sourced tails are used, and in many cases these are obtained from multiple suppliers.

At any point in time, carriers can typically cut their opex by migrating a certain percentage of their tails from one supplier to another.  The most successful migrations involve no adverse end customer impact and provide them with new added value.

To successfully implement such a migration strategy requires answers to the following questions:
(1) How many tails can be migrated?
(2) Which specific end customers would be involved?
(3) What cost savings can we generate?

In many cases, bottlenecks to answering the above include:
- A mish-mash of new and legacy information sysems
- Customer data that has varying address and other formats

To assist clients meet their business objectives, Callpoint offers its GeoAttribution service.  Simply, we accept a batch file of raw address data, then geocode (convert to latitude-longitude) and attribute with columns such as ADSL, Fibre and/or Wireless deliverability on a per record basis.
